Quality assurance and accreditation procedures are designed to systematically review and further develop these aspects, with the aim of ensuring transparent standards, strengthening trust in higher education degrees, and continuously improving educational offerings. Accreditations confirm that an institution or study programme meets established quality standards. They also form the basis for the recognition of degrees and titles, thereby supporting mobility within the European Higher Education Area. As part of the accreditation process, a panel of experts is appointed, which includes a student member.     <\/p>\n\n<p>There are different types of accreditation procedures. You will find an overview <a href=\"https:\/\/aaq.ch\/akkreditierung\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/aaq.ch\/akkreditierung\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-8f3d66f8 gb-headline-text\"><strong>Your Role as a Student<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n<p>The perspective of students on study content, supervision, learning conditions, and opportunities for participation in their studies is essential. Their voice contributes to further developing and improving the quality of higher education in the interest of students.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Selected students participate as equal members of the expert panel in accreditation procedures.
