Management Board
The board is responsible for the strategic management of the association in accordance with the decisions of the Delegates Assembly and the Section Counsil. It consists of the co-presidium and five other members of the board. The board manages the day-to-day business of the association, represents the VSS externally and maintains regular contact with education policy bodies, institutions and organizations. The board acts as the employer of all persons employed by the VSS.

Advisory Board
The Advisory Board of the Association of Swiss Student Bodies (VSS) is a non-partisan group made up of representatives from various regions of Switzerland. The main aim of the Advisory Board is to network education with politics and to strengthen education policy concerns at national level.
The aim is also to have all parties represented in the Federal Assembly. The members of the advisory board benefit first-hand from the education policy assessments and expertise of the association and its 140,000 members. In their role, the advisory board members also show students that politicians are also receptive to the concerns of the younger generation. This structure ultimately enables the politicians represented on the Advisory Board to gain a broad perspective on the needs and challenges of students in Switzerland and to react accordingly.
