As the voice of students in Switzerland, the Swiss Student Union takes a stand on current political issues and advocates for a diverse, networked, and sustainable higher education system in Switzerland.
The task in the area of higher education policy is to monitor and analyze developments in higher education policy at the national level. The primary goal is to contribute the Swiss Student Union’s positions to the current debate on higher education policy. To this end, the union drafts position papers for the federal parliament, issues statements on consultations and voting recommendations, and comments on other current political issues that primarily affect students directly or indirectly in their studies.
University Policy Commission (HopoKo)
The HopoKo deals with educational policy issues that are currently relevant or are likely to become relevant in the future. The HopoKo functions as a think tank for the Swiss Student Union.
